Lara Jade Joins British Reality Show for Photography

LONDON, United Kingdom, November 20 –Back to Front TV,  executive producer of Britain’s first reality show for fashion photography, today announced Lara Jade as an audition panellist and guest mentor on the show.

The series developed by Willie Christie and Back to Front TV will celebrate the essential relationship between fashion and photography. Back to Front TV counts the Royal Photographic Society as a headline supporter and has a growing number of supporters, including Phase One, the world’s leading medium format camera manufacturer. The executive producer is currently accepting contestant entries and is leading a weekly review of submissions.

“I am extremely honoured to be working alongside Willie Christie for this show and excited to be involved in one of Britain’s first photography TV shows,” commented Lara Jade. “I hope that my part in the series will inspire and encourage young photographers that, regardless of age, talent is what speaks the most.”

Lara Jade has been working in the photography industry for the past eight years – continuously working with her clientele between the USA and Europe. Starting photography as a teenager shooting self-portraits in her early years allowed Lara to hone her skills, which then translated into the creative side of fashion photography a few years later.

“Lara has a great eye for photography and will make an excellent panellist for auditions,” commented Willie Christie, legendary Vogue photographer and executive director of Back to Front TV. “We are very much looking forward to working with her in the auditions and during the production of the show.”

Lara is a working photographer with an extensive knowledge of shooting for high-profile clients in the studio and on location. Acting as creative director of most of her personal and editorial shoots, as well as contributing ideas to client shoots, Lara has built a large archive of personal and client work in just a few years and has led to the individual style seen in her work. Her client list includes P&G, Goldsmiths, Panache Lingerie, Harper Collins and editorial clients Observer (UK), 125 Magazine, Velvet Magazine & Huffington Post Style.

The executive producer is in discussions with aspiring artists and is assembling a creative unit to support the activities planned around the show and for the production.

“When I first met with Lara, we struck an immediate chord and her enthusiasm for fashion photography and for the project was immediately clear,” said Haider Mannan, creator of the concept. “She brings with her a unique perspective and tremendous support through her followers.”

The show is being executive-produced by Back to Front TV, a firm that develops content among other production related activities; and is advised by Mannan Capital Partners.
