Flothemes, Wordpress & Instagram

If you love Instagram as much as I do, the lovely people over at Flothemes have come up with a fantastic plug in for WordPress that lets you quickly add your Instragram feed direct into your Wordpess website.

It is super simple to install and only takes a moment to get a great gallery that you can add to on the move from your phone or tablet. As a photographer Instagram is becoming more and more fun. I use it on a daily basis to document my trips and life

These are some screen shots showing the plugin at work, the top image is the direct pull from the feed creating a whole page, the second image show the plug in along the side of a blog post.

The video Flothemes give you is great at walking you though setting it up. They have a nice step by step guide and are helpful via twitter if you get stuck. They are currently building a pintrest plug-in so do add @flothemes on twitter to keep track of that

There are a couple of options for you to change the layout, number of photos, add a follow or even place a widget along side your blog for handy reach for your readers. The bit I really love is being able to quickly embed code from other blogger and Instagrammers. Here is my feed embedded into this blog post for example and a follow me button. To use the code you do have to have the plugin installed.
