From the very outset, this is one of my favorite shoots both artistically and technically.

We had the super amazing Sian Lidgate  (link)  on hand and the very pretty Isabelle Koenig  (link) modelling for us, pretty much the perfect team for any photographer. The aim was to create a small set of Metallic themed beauty shots. We shot a golden warm set of images then a colour moody blue image. We liked how they could sit next to each other and offset the story. We liked the idea that the golden image (above) looked like amour and reflected the Greek gods, where the darker blues reminded us of the underworld of Hades. As you will see as you scroll down, I did two edits of the the shot as we changed the make up a little bit.. I thought both looked great and wanted to show the different editing styles too.

After the shoot, we decided to shoot with the latex skirt in the shower and a couple of other images too. This is what I love about testing, especially with amazing people. I have decided to really try and up my game this year and push my self harder than ever before. For me, testing is the only way to really get my photography skills to where I need them to be. As a lighting set up – everything was shot using a single 400ww Light. The beauty shots used the 170cm softbox where as the water shots just had the light firing in into the bathroom and lighting the whole place from outside the door. The whole bathroom was dark stone and created such an amazing light. Check out the Part two NSFW blog here (Link)
