A few months ago I felt like I needed something new in my photography, this shot was just that. In many ways this shoot was never going to be blogged, it was never really meant to be on the Ideas & Images website at all.   This shoot was all about self learning and pushing my own limits as regards to nudity and shooting more explicit content.

Akari was just amazing to work with and we ended up with some very powerful images. These images are in some way inspired by Steven Meisel’s strong black and white portraits mixed with the more provocative nature of Newton.

Everything was created using a single un-modified light source and a D800 camera. No photoshop side from two overlay filters & colour lookup table for the colour adjustments.
