Jezebelle is just as much of a lovely person as she is a lovely model. I have been wanting to shoot with Jezebelle for a good while and a few months ago we got the chance to set a date and hit the studio we did just that !
We shot some images for my towel series and we also had a play about with another fun concept too.
Something that was quite fun & I will have to update this post with them, is that I part shot this image on film and part digital. I have yet to get the film sorted out and printed, then scanned but will be sure to do a post when I have. These were shot on the D800 & the Fuji X-Pro 2 as part of a test. People had been asking me recently just how good the APS-C sensor is against the amazing Sony Sensor that is in the D800. It made me think, and I had not really done a direct head to head. At some point I will do a side by side, but I want the film first. What I can say is… The d800 was FAR slower to use & edit as I wanted to match the monochrome images to the Acros Film sim mode from the Fuji, as that was the very same 35mm I was shooting with on the film camera. From just looking at the files, it is impossible to tell the cameras from these images, but also, as I was editing them, it was still hard to tell them apart unless when I needed to really zoom in to edit. Just thinking too… I should really add in the Pentax 645z and shot some images across all the formats on the same shoot.
Thank you to Jezebelle !!
